The Phyllium is an insect-like pavilion formed by a continued arch that showcases the timber as building material. Arch is one of the commonly used building structures, owns the properties of resolving forces into compressive stresses and therefore achieves large spans. Its application can be easily seen in many structures, from the ancient Rome aqueduct to religious buildings that adopt a typical Romanesque arch structure. The meaning of the word "architecture" in English is formed by arc. (arc) and tec. (technology), represents the "technical technology composed of arc-shaped arches".
